They left Ravensklip, and headed north towards Johannesburg, climbed onto the M1 motorway and settled down to the speed limit. Thomas gratefully left all the driving to as he had a long time ago admitted privately to himself, that he did not see all that well at night and his reflexes had slowed down a tad bit over the years.
